Agave Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup Nectavé Organic Agave Nectar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups chocolate chips

Steps
- 1) Preheat oven to 325°F — reduced temperature prevents over-browning when baking with agave nectar.
- 2) In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- 3) In a large bowl, beat butter and Nectavé Organic Agave Nectar together until smooth.
- 4) Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
- 5) Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
- 6) Fold in chocolate chips.
- 7) Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- 8) Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers look slightly underdone.
- 9) Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
